Dr. Andrew Clement

Meet Dr. Andrew Clement

Dr. Clement is a Des Moines native, born and raised. He attended Drake University for his undergrad degree and received his doctorate in chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in MN. He is married to Katie Clement, owner of Something Blue in Ankeny. Together, they enjoy spending time with their two dogs, Sage and Olive and are excited to be welcoming Baby Clement summer of 2021! In his spare time (soon to be limited), Dr. Andrew enjoys spending time outdoors camping and exploring the small town treasures of Iowa while trying out their local eateries and entertainment.

With over 13 years of experience, Dr. Clement has helped thousands of suffering individuals get back to living a happy, healthy, better quality of life. Our practice focuses on ensuring your nervous system is working as optimally as possible by utilizing CoreScore technology. This is technology was initially developed by NASA and is utilized to assess underlying nerve interference through 3 separate computerized spinal scans.

Softwave harnesses your body's own natural healing potential by recruiting your very own cells to migrate to the treatment area, initiating true tissue regeneration. Softwave works by creating an electrohydraulic soundwave that penetrates musculoskeletal conditions at 3,355mph mimicking an injury without causing injury, there by activating true healing. Unlike other invasive procedures, there is no "down time" or "recovery" from this treatment and pain relief is immediate. Our West Des Moines location serves all surrounding areas; West Des Moines, Waukee, Des Moines, Johnston, Clive, Urbandale, Grimes and beyond.

About Us

Clement Chiropractic’s core is centered around a properly functioning nervous system. We utilize state of the art scanning technology that is able to assess what your nervous system may not be telling you. With this valuable information and further diagnostic imaging such as x-rays, we are able to formulate a comprehensive plan that best suites your health goals. We perform “hands-on” manual adjustments and may also utilize instruments such as an Activator as needed.

“Do I Need Chiropractic Care?” The easy answer, “YES!” We specialize in a variety of conditions. However, we want to emphasize that the absence of pain does not necessarily mean the presence of HEALTH! Pain can be misleading, the last to show, and first to go. At your first appointment, we will perform a series of scans that will allow us to see any underlying issues that may not have reached that “pain” stage yet. This is where chiropractic care can play an important role in your overall health and wellbeing. If you do suffer from pain, we recommend that you follow the treatment plan as recommended by Dr. Clement. He knows what it takes on the journey to health. Once we obtain your health goals, we’ll recommend a wellness plan that will help you maintain your health, so you don’t find yourself at the “bottom of the hill” again. After all, “The Preservation of Health is Easier than the Cure of the Disease”.

Dr. Clement and his staff are awesome. I have had my share of back issues over the years and Dr. Clements adjustments and other services have provided a lot of relief.

I started seeing Dr. Clement when I lived in West Des Moines. The office is super easy to get to and the front desk attendant is super nice. When talking to Dr. Clement you can tell he genuinely cares for his patients.

  • What is the SoftWave treatment process like?

SoftWave is a fast and convenient non-invasive procedure that usually lasts 10-15 minutes, with no downtime required for recovery. First, ultrasound gel is applied, then the SoftWave device is gently placed to deliver shock waves to the injured area. Most patients feel a gentle tapping or pulsing sensation, while some patients may experience mild pain or discomfort. The use of anesthesia or numbing agents is not necessary.
