Dr. George Gertner

Meet Dr. George Gertner

Dr. George Gertner is a family man, healer, philanthropist, author of “The Gift of Hope”, public speaker, and founder of one of the world’s busiest Upper Cervical Chiropractic clinics. Upper Cervical Chiropractic of New York, PC was established in 2002 and has quickly become the standard of excellence in the profession. Located in White Plains, UCC-NY is located less than 30 miles from New York City, and attracts patients from all around the world including very well-known pro athletes and celebrities.

Dr. Gertner received his bachelors degree in biology from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY before moving to Atlanta, GA to attend Life University. Before graduation, Dr.Gertner had a severe injury to his lower back. For more than a year he was adjusted using every traditional chiropractic procedure available but still suffered with severe pain. After almost giving up on a profession that he spent the last 4 years dedicating his life to, Dr. Gertner finally met a chiropractor who changed his life.

We are dedicated to the restoration of health for individuals whose nervous systems are compromised by a condition known as atlas subluxation complex. We are committed to providing our patients with the safest and most effective spinal correction procedure on the planet. We promote a lifetime of wellness to our patients in a compassionate and loving atmosphere.

We make every effort to educate the community about the wonderful benefits of upper cervical care. We operate with the utmost integrity and honor and with a consciousness of abundance and fun.

After a few weeks of working with Dr. Gertner the tingling and discomfort went away and I am sleeping better and feeling better. I highly recommend him!!

For the first time in many years, I didn't have pain, and that I could move my body without that pressure on my hips was a blessing.

  • What is the SoftWave treatment process like?

SoftWave is a fast and convenient non-invasive procedure that usually lasts 10-15 minutes, with no downtime required for recovery. First, ultrasound gel is applied, then the SoftWave device is gently placed to deliver shock waves to the injured area. Most patients feel a gentle tapping or pulsing sensation, while some patients may experience mild pain or discomfort. The use of anesthesia or numbing agents is not necessary. Effective communication with the provider during treatment can help identify treatment hotspots and track progress.
