Dr. Jeff May

Meet Dr. Jeff May

Growing up in Nebraska, Dr. Jeff was an avid horseback rider, calf roper and participated in team roping. During his sophomore year of high school, a horse reared up and bucked, then landed on top of him. This injury led him to the chiropractor.

Are you looking for a natural way to boost your well-being? No matter what your goal may be, we likely have an option to suit you. Virtual consultations are available!

Advantage Health Center is proud to be the first place in the state to offer Softwave Therapy. We know, however, that we won’t be the last because of the incredible results our patients have gotten from this therapy! If you have repetitive, chronic pain or injury, we offer a natural, non-injectable way to help you heal through Softwave Therapy. The results can even seem miraculous! This therapy uses sound waves sent through the body at a high speed. Your brain reacts by sending cells to the area to repair damage. cells are always dormant in the body, ready to go anywhere that they’re needed. We simply jumpstart this healing process. The typical form of stem cell therapy can cost several thousand dollars for a single treatment. Options like cortisone shots don’t always work, and typically require multiple rounds. With Softwave Therapy, you will do about 4-6 treatments to get results. After that, you have the option to do a booster visit about every 2 months to ensure your problem doesn’t return.

Dr. Gestring and his staff are great at what he does.

I had been searching for a chiropractor who would be thorough with the initial exam and would have a treatment plan for me. I found this with Dr Jason the very first day I had an appointment with him.

Everyone there is amazing. I went in having some mild issues, and even in the first visit, I already feel relief from the pain I was having. Can’t wait to go back!

Dr Benningfield is a rock star among Chiropractic"s!

Only here to rave about the best chiropractor! Every visit with Dr. Vuagniaux leaves me relaxed and feeling new again.

As someone who struggles with dizziness, neck tension, and headaches, I had no idea that a head and neck misalignment could affect different aspects of your health.

LaTess is a wonderful practitioner with a beautiful spirit.

LaTess is so warm and welcoming! She is gentle

SoftWave FAQs

  • What results should I expect from SoftWave Therapy?

If you are a candidate for treatment, SoftWave therapy can provide both immediate and long-lasting results. After one SoftWave session, patients typically experience a 20-50% reduction in pain and improvement in mobility, lasting from a few hours to several days. Some patients require multiple sessions before experiencing improvement.

  • What is the SoftWave treatment process like?

SoftWave is a fast and convenient non-invasive procedure that usually lasts 10-15 minutes, with no downtime required for recovery. First, ultrasound gel is applied, then the SoftWave device is gently placed to deliver shock waves to the injured area. Most patients feel a gentle tapping or pulsing sensation, while some patients may experience mild pain or discomfort. The use of anesthesia or numbing agents is not necessary. Effective communication with the provider during treatment can help identify treatment hotspots and track progress.
