Dr. Mike Wampfler

Meet Dr. Mike Wampfler

Dr. Mike Wampfler is a graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic with a doctor of chiropractic degree. In addition, he is only one in a couple handfuls of chiropractors in the entire state of Illinois certified in Chiropractic Biophysics® Technique (CBP). He has helped hundreds of people regain their health and quality of life by finding the root cause of their neck pain, back pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, headaches, numbness and tingling, sciatica, scoliosis, TMJ dysfunction, poor posture, and many other conditions utilizing CBP technique, which is the most researched, published, and scientific chiropractic technique available.

Our office is designed to be a place where the journey to better health begins. Our team takes pride in helping you achieve your health goals.

This specific Tissue Regeneration Technologies uses extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) which penetrates deep into the tissue and thus to the site of injury. Shockwaves initiate a biologic healing response through a release of growth factors, anti-inflammatory agents, and an improved blood supply in response to ESWT. Shockwaves elicit a strong cellular response by activating mitochondria (the cell’s power source) in nerve cells. This latest generation ESWT device utilizes softwave therapy to help your body heal itself. Millions of people have received shockwave treatment without any significant side effects. In a few cases, patients experience some pain during treatment – especially when the treatment area is close to bone or is acutely inflamed.

From the moment I walked into Vitality Plus Urology Clinic, I felt at ease. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and Dr. Decker took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and the treatment options available.

Dr. Decker and his team were incredibly professional and compassionate throughout the process. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking effective and innovative treatment options.

Dr. Ehrlich saved my life! I have 2 serious chronic illnesses (Multiple Sclerosis & Ulcerative Colitis). I came to Dr. Ehrlich several years ago when I was in the midst of a really bad Colitis attack.

After 60 years of Western Medicine I found myself tired, overweight, hormonally imbalanced and mildly depressed.

SoftWave FAQs

  • What results should I expect from SoftWave Therapy?

If you are a candidate for treatment, SoftWave therapy can provide both immediate and long-lasting results. After one SoftWave session, patients typically experience a 20-50% reduction in pain and improvement in mobility, lasting from a few hours to several days. Some patients require multiple sessions before experiencing improvement.

To determine if SoftWave is a suitable treatment for you, schedule a $69 New Patient Appointment, where you will receive one SoftWave treatment session, and the provider will assess whether further treatment is appropriate.

Unlike pain medications and injections, SoftWave treatment seeks to activate the body’s natural healing process at the cellular level to deliver genuine and long-lasting results.

  • What is the SoftWave treatment process like?

SoftWave is a fast and convenient non-invasive procedure that usually lasts 10-15 minutes, with no downtime required for recovery. First, ultrasound gel is applied, then the SoftWave device is gently placed to deliver shock waves to the injured area. Most patients feel a gentle tapping or pulsing sensation, while some patients may experience mild pain or discomfort. The use of anesthesia or numbing agents is not necessary. Effective communication with the provider during treatment can help identify treatment hotspots and track progress.
