Dr. Karch Gajdos
I knew from a young age that I wanted to make a difference in the health of people’s lives. I knew I wanted to become a Doctor. However, when I went off to college I needed to decide what kind of Doctor I wanted to be! Initially I had thoughts of going to medical school to either become a Neurosurgeon, Cardiologist, or an ER doctor. But as exciting as it sounded to do surgery, it never quite felt right. I got hooked on this idea of prevention and I couldn’t shake it. And the standard medical model of cut it out or give them a pill didn’t sit right with me.
