Dr. Darlene Case

Meet Dr. Darlene Case

I grew up in Southern Ohio and did my undergraduate work at Akron University where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology. When I graduated, I wanted to live in a warmer climate, so I packed my bags and headed west to California. I attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, CA and graduated in 1989 with honors. In 1991, I opened my clinic doors in Anaheim, CA to serve the Orange County area.

Dr. Case and the staff have a genuine concern for your well-being! Come visit Case Wellness Center in Anaheim, California. Chiropractic doctors practice natural, drugless, non-invasive health care and rely on the body’s ability to self-heal. Sounds ideal, but just how does it work? Chiropractic looks at the whole picture. Like other health-care providers, chiropractors follow a standard routine to gain information about the patient. Chiropractors consult, review the case history, conduct a physical examination, and we may request laboratory analyses and/or x-rays. Unlike other health-care providers, however, chiropractic physicians also conduct a careful analysis of the patient’s structure and pay particular attention to the spine. We also ask you about your life- Do you eat well? Exercise at all? How do you deal with stress? Do you have children? What do you do for work? And so on. Chiropractic seeks the origin of the problem. Using this information, a diagnosis is made. Included in the diagnosis is the probable reason for your pain or discomfort. It is important to note that chiropractors seek the origin of the illness in order to eliminate it-we do not simply treat the symptoms. If your roof is leaking, do you simply catch the drips in a bucket for years on end, or do you repair the roof to prevent it from leaking? Similarly, if the migraine headache you’ve had all week is being caused by misaligned vertebra and an irritated nerve, do you continue to take pain killers indefinitely, or do you realign the vertebra to prevent the pain? You get the picture. Chiropractic fixes the origin of the problem. Chiropractors have a term for misalignments: subluxations. A vertebral subluxation is a misalignment of the bones that protect the spinal cord. It’s a leak in the roof. Or a kink in the wiring of your nervous system. The severity of the subluxation can vary, and there are a number of potential contributing factors that can be physical, emotional, mental, or chemical. The subluxation can be caused by any number of incidents, from birth trauma to an auto accident to simple repetition or over-use. At Case Wellness Center, Dr. Darlene Case and her chiropractic staff seek to uncover you whole health and wellness picture, find the origins of health problems, and fix those at the cause. We look forward to your visit at our office in Anaheim, California.

The best addition to my health care! .......

Dr. Case is great! I always feel better when I visit her. I like that she doesn't do a lot of those yucky adjustments where you feel ripped in two.

SoftWave FAQs

  • What results should I expect from SoftWave Therapy?

If you are a candidate for treatment, SoftWave therapy can provide both immediate and long-lasting results. After one SoftWave session, patients typically experience a 20-50% reduction in pain and improvement in mobility, lasting from a few hours to several days. Some patients require multiple sessions before experiencing improvement.

To determine if SoftWave is a suitable treatment for you, schedule a $69 New Patient Appointment, where you will receive one SoftWave treatment session, and the provider will assess whether further treatment is appropriate.

Unlike pain medications and injections, SoftWave treatment seeks to activate the body’s natural healing process at the cellular level to deliver genuine and long-lasting results.

  • What is the SoftWave treatment process like?

SoftWave is a fast and convenient non-invasive procedure that usually lasts 10-15 minutes, with no downtime required for recovery. First, ultrasound gel is applied, then the SoftWave device is gently placed to deliver shock waves to the injured area. Most patients feel a gentle tapping or pulsing sensation, while some patients may experience mild pain or discomfort. The use of anesthesia or numbing agents is not necessary. Effective communication with the provider during treatment can help identify treatment hotspots and track progress.
